Open models for
the rest of us
Hi. This was written by a real person on paper with pen before making its way to machine. One person (soon many, hopefully) building AI tools for people, by people. I've never been the smartest person, but I made up for it by always rotating under the 5 Ps: proper preparation prevents poor performance. I relate to open weight models in that way, so I built this: a tool to situate very capable agents who just need the right environment to thrive.
The architecture works like this: every Sovereign instance brings open weight intelligence situated within enriched knowledge, completely in your network. That's fine for most, but I hope some will have that midnight yearning and wonder: "Could I run MiniMax2.7... locally?" Then walk next door to their neighbor who is famous for their beefy gaming machine and ask humbly if they would join a Commonwealth. Each Sovereign gains compute by joining a Commonwealth. That's what I want the future of AI to look like. You're here at the beginning and not everything will work at first. Be patient, be constructive, then when this shit actually works demand the best. That's all I can ask.

super-alpha-y · macOS · Linux · Windows
The CLI installs with one line. Three binaries into ~/.local/bin, checksum-verified, no sudo, nothing running you didn't start:
curl -fsSL https://svrnme.sh/install.sh | sh
The desktop app is the same engine with a face. Pick your machine:
The honest fine print: this is an alpha — the builds work, the edges are rough, and you're early on purpose. Everything is signed for the auto-updater and checksummed, but the mac builds aren't notarized yet — so the first launch is right-click → Open, once. Windows will show a SmartScreen warning for the same reason: a missing certificate, not malice. Updates arrive on their own from this version forward, so with any luck this is the last installer you download by hand. Something broken? Tell me — be patient, be constructive, then demand the best. And the source? AGPLv3, opening with the beta — alpha collaborators get it now; the signup form above is how you ask.
Let's try to make AI that's better together.
